People have called me smart. People have called me clueless. I've been considered nice, childlike, sensitive...strong mature, and scary. Labeled competitive by some, corrected as hard working by others, well known procrastinator by most. Multiple times throughout my life I've been told that I'm shy and quiet. Multiple times I've been told I'm talkative and crazy. Sensible yet silly. Emotional yet logical.
What have I drawn from this?
1) You are the one who knows yourself inside and out the most
2) Don't let others tell you who you are if you know you're not
3) You can be whoever you want to be
4) Hold tight to your values, your personality, your identity. Surrounded by influence you can lose sight of it, becoming what others think you are. You can be lost in an act until you don't know what is true and what isn't.
5) Remember: people are complicated. People are changing. A thousand words wouldn't begin to describe who you are. There's always something to learn and you can only hope to understand it.
It's possible to say you love and feel good about yourself and at the same time say you want to change.
